Michael Mahan at Worth Avenue Yachts sends word of a further $1,741,000 price drop on his listing for sale, the 39.62m motor yacht JW.

Built in fibreglass by US superyacht yard Westport with a modified V hull, JW was delivered in 2008. A spacious aft deck has a bar and television and a surround sound system, making for idyllic alfresco entertaining and dining. Leading on from there forward through counter-balanced stainless steel sliding doors is the large saloon with luxurious sofas, a 50 inch HDTV television screen and formal dining for 10 guests. Another feature is a Kaleidescape system with Crestron controls for video and audio on demand

An expansive layout with raised panel mahogany accommodates 10 guests in five staterooms. The on-deck master suite forward has a king sized bed and his and hers en suite bathrooms while below two mirror-image VIP staterooms come with king sized beds and full en suite facilities. The fourth and fifth cabins are twin-bedded with en suite shower rooms. JW has always been privately used and never chartered.

Twin 2,735hp MTU engines give her a cruising speed of 20 knots and a maximum speed of 25 knots.

Lying in West Palm Beach, Florida, JW is down from $11,740,000 to $9,999,000.
