Pink Gin VI, the world's largest carbon fibre sloop-rigged sailing yacht, has changed central agency and is now listed for sale with Edmiston.
Built by Finnish yard Baltic Yachts, the 54 metre Pink Gin VI is a high-performance carbon fibre cruiser designed by Judel-Vrolijk and launched in 2017.
The sailing yacht for sale sports a vertical bow fitted with a bowsprit, a lifting keel to allow the draft to be lowered from seven metres to 4.5 metres and a 67-metre tall mast to maximise her sailplan. In total, she flies a massive 1,322 square metres of sail upwind complemented by a Rondal furling boom and carbon fibre rigging. Downwind, she carries a bright pink 1,838 metre asymmetrical spinnaker that weighs nearly a quarter of a tonne.
The sloop can accommodate up to six guests split between an owner's suite with a private balcony, five en suite guest cabins and a further four double cabins for crew. An eclectic interior comes courtesy of British firm Design Unlimited featuring patinated oak plank floors and bursts of a subdued red wine colour used for the carpets and other furnishings.
A spacious main saloon boasts ample seating via a large wraparound settee with panoramic ocean views. Three additional bespoke chairs complete the area, while a grand piano and bar are situated forward.
Under power, Pink Gin VI can reach a top speed of 12 knots thanks to a single 1,400hp MAN engine with a range of 2,500 nautical miles.
Pink Gin VI is asking €29,500,000 with VAT paid and will be available for viewings at the Monaco Yacht Show.
