The 35.4-metre Benetti Mediterraneo 116 motor yacht Bella Vita has been sold. The deal was closed in-house with Sean Doyle and Ed Dickinson of Northrop & Johnson.
Delivered in 2020, Bella Vita is the eighth of 10 yachts belonging to the Italian yard's Mediterraneo 116 series, designed by Giorgio M. Cassetta with naval architecture by Benetti. Interiors from Salvagni Architetti highlight the meaning behind Bella Vita's name: "born from a golden Italian sunset, a toast to 'The Good Life,' and a passion for the sea."
According to her broker, her listing owners (the same since new) were seasoned charter guests who brought their "vision to life" through Benetti, making every space on board highly customised and designed for entertainment. She has been built to MCA compliance, meticulously maintained and recently completed her five-year survey.
Accommodation on board is for 10 guests in five cabins comprising an owner's suite, two VIP cabins and two twin cabins, all en suite. Located on the main deck, her owner's cabin makes use of the motor yacht's 7.5-metre beam, complete with a king-size bed, private study, dressing table, walk-in wardrobe, and en suite with a central shower and bathtub. Crew quarters for eight comprise a captain’s cabin and three cabins on the lower deck.
Her interiors are minimalist and bright, thanks to oversized windows, a neutral colour palette, rich wood finishes and bold pops of colour. "The aesthetic is both contemporary and inviting," noted her broker.
The main saloon features a welcoming seating area with a fold-away television and a formal dining area for ten forward. Large glass doors lead to a wide aft deck with a sofa and tables for relaxed dining or coffee, alongside stairs that lead to a stylish outdoor dining area aft of the skylounge.
As with all yachts from the Mediterraneo 116 series, outdoor living is at the heart of the design. A large 80-square-metre sundeck offers ample space for sunbathing, socialising and alfresco dining, while the foredeck is home to a Jacuzzi and additional sunpads.
An expansive swim platform is the perfect launching point for watersports, next to a spacious beach club with a garage housing a Williams tender, Jet Skis, and dive equipment. She is also fitted with an Atlas crane and is equipped with gym equipment and a dedicated dive equipment store.
Cruising comfortably at 14 knots, the motor yacht has a range of 3,200 nautical miles and can reach a top speed of 15 knots thanks to twin MAN 2,800hp engines.
Bella Vita was last asking €11,200,000.
