The 55.9-metre Benetti motor yacht Aelia, for sale with Michel Chryssicopoulos and Richard Gray of IYC, has received a €2,500,000 price drop.
Delivered in 2015, Aelia was constructed in steel and aluminium to an in-house design by the Italian yard and originally outfitted with interiors by Central Yacht. In 2024, she was relaunched following a major €4,000,000 interior refit to designs by Studio Vafiadis.
Aelia will be on display at this year's Monaco Yacht Show.
Accommodation on board is provided for a party of 12 guests in eight cabins, including two master cabins on the upper deck, easily accessible thanks to a lift servicing all decks.
Aelia's interior is bathed in natural light, outfitted with a fairly neutral colour palette and sophisticated design elements intended to create an inviting and elegant atmosphere.
The main saloon is open-plan, with a large circular dining table forward of the seating area and a bar aft. Above, there is a further circular dining table in the skylounge.
Other onboard highlights include a massage room, gym and a cinema. Unsurprisingly, the brokers noted her "impeccable charter record", mostly thanks to a dedicated crew of 14.
Exterior deck spaces are expansive and on the aft part of the top deck is a glass-backed Jacuzzi pool for guests to relax in while watching the wake disappear at 17 knots. At rest, a transom hatch opens to form a beach club area from which tenders and toys can be boarded and guests can swim.
Benetti-Lusben was responsible for the engineering and mechanical aspects of the extensive refit, also completed in 2024. The Lloyds-classed, MCA-compliant 988GT vessel is powered by twin MTU diesels, "with very low engine hours", giving her a cruising speed of 14 knots and top speed of 17 knots.
Aelia is now asking €36,000,000 and will be on display at the Monaco Yacht Show.
