21 November 2019 • Written by Malcolm MacLean

The 47.5 metre tri-deck motor yacht Lilium, listed for sale by Leo Jordil and Kevin Bonnie in the Monaco office of IYC, has been sold in an in-house deal.

Designed by Unique Yacht Design, Lilium was built in steel and aluminium to RINA class by Turkish family yard Bilgin and launched as recently as May 2019. Her interior decor centres around a white colour palette with golden touches accommodating 10 guests in five cabins laid out as a master suite, two doubles and two twins. All guest cabins have entertainment centres, television screens and en suite bathroom facilities while the crew quarters sleep nine staff.

Standout guest spaces are the main saloon and the sky lounge surrounding a striking staircase that reflects light from the glass bottom of the Jacuzzi tub located on the sundeck, linking all decks of the yacht. Just behind the main saloon, a formal dining area for twelve within easy reach of the modern galley, has a layout that allows crew to operate easily without infringing on guest privacy.

Outdoors, the main aft deck has a sheltered al fresco seating, dining and movie area that leads down to the large beach club. Meanwhile, the sundeck offers guests a glass-sided Jacuzzi spa tub, a seating area with a large fold down television screen, a bar, sun loungers and a cabana. Lilium is powered by twin 1,475hp MTU 12V2000 M72 diesel engines, reaching a top speed of 16 knots and a transatlantic range in excess of 4,500 nautical miles at her cruising speed of 12 knots.
