A 35 metre new- build explorer yacht called the Cape Scott 114 has been listed for sale by Tim Quinlan at Ocean Independence.
Designed by Stephen Seaton, she will be built in steel and aluminium by Cape Scott Yachts with a Lloyds class hull incorporating a 30mm armoured bottom plate. Accommodation will be for 10 guests in five cabins, all with en suite bathroom facilities.
The main deck features a large saloon with a dining area and a fully functional enclosed galley with seating for informal dinning. Forward of the main deck’s social areas is the owner’s full beam suite with private office space.
The wheelhouse deck features a spacious pilothouse with seating as well as a sky lounge for relaxing or playing cards and games.
The interior can be finished in either traditional or contemporary styles featuring hardwoods and veneers chosen by the client from acacia, maple or makore, with a satin finish. The large crew area aft features two comfortable cabins, each with en suite facilities, and a dining and galley area for the crew. Twin 2000hp Caterpillar engines will give her a cruising speed of 13.5 knots and a range of over 5,500 nautical miles.
The Cape Scott 114 is asking $15.8 million.
