Spirit was built in composite/Kevlar to a design by Bakewell-White Design and was delivered by New Zealand Yachts in 2005. A wave piercer catamaran, she was last refitted in 2016 and her Ken Freivokh interior design gives her exceptional interior volume and spacious deck areas. Two canted counter balanced rudders are fitted. These allow for trimming of the vessel, similar to trim tabs, and also reduce the roll of the vessel when turning.
