The 39.6-metre Christensen motor yacht Sweet Escape has been sold, with Jarrett Hiebert of Merle Wood & Associates representing the seller and Will Noftsinger and Paolo Ameglio of Denison Yachting introducing the buyer.

Built in GRP by the US yard, Sweet Escape was delivered in 1993 and had a complete refit in 2023.

Sweet Escape was last asking $3,999,999

Accommodation on board is for 12 guests across six cabins, comprising a master suite that stretches the full 8.1-metre beam with his-and-hers en suite bathrooms, three king cabins, two convertible twin-to-king cabins and a single cabin with a bunk bed. There are separate quarters for seven crew, including a captain's cabin adjacent to the bridge.

The main saloon is comfortably furnished, with a large sofa, armchairs, coffee table, grand piano and games table. Forward is a large formal dining table, separated from the main saloon via a glass wine rack. The aft deck is protected by the overhang of the deck above and has built-in settees and a teak table for al fresco outdoor dining.

Up in the skylounge, large windows provide excellent levels of natural light: an ideal place to relax and watch films, socialise or relax at the bar. Moving aft through sliding doors is the boat deck offering more al fresco dining, while upstairs is the sundeck with a barbecue, Jacuzzi, sunpads and optional shade.

Twin C32 Caterpillar 1,650hp engines give Sweet Escape a cruising speed of 12 knots with a range of 2,000 nautical miles, topping out at 17 knots.

Sweet Escape was last asking $3,999,999.
