The classic 40-metre Feadship motor yacht Seagull of Cayman, listed for sale with Kevin Bonnie of IYC, has received a further price drop of €700,000.
Seagull of Cayman was delivered in 1980 by the Dutch yard, constructed in steel and aluminium to a design by De Voogt Naval Architects. Impeccably maintained since her launch, the Feadship Heritage build underwent a major refit in 2006 and a three-year refit program from 2015-2017, with the multi-million euro works including new zero-speed stabilisers, a full new Awlgrip paint job and new interior styling by Patrick Khayat. Further works in 2025 have also been completed.
Seagull of Cayman's interior refresh now showcases a ‘modern classic’ style, said by her broker to "pay tribute to all her classic features whilst bringing her in line with today". A predominantly neutral colour palette is showcased through upholstered low-profile furniture and custom silk carpets, complemented by rich wood panelling and leather and brass details.
According to her broker, the main saloon is "bigger than that of most yachts of this size", complete with a formal dining area, sofa lounge space and desk.
Accommodation on board the canoe-stern yacht is for 12 guests across six cabins, including an on-deck master suite with a private marble bath, walk-in wardrobe and a king-sized bed, and five versatile cabins on the lower deck, all with en-suite. Meanwhile, there are further quarters for a crew of nine.
Outside, Seagull of Cayman offers multiple choices for al fresco entertaining and dining, including a large covered aft deck and an extensive flybridge sheltered by a Bimini top.
Powered by twin 675hp GM engines, this classic 335GT yacht for sale offers a range of 3,200 nautical miles at her cruising speed of 13 knots and a maximum speed of 14 knots.
Currently lying in Saint Tropez, France, Seagull of Cayman is now asking €3,200,000 with VAT paid.
