The 28.73 metre classic canoe-sterned motor yacht Celandine has been listed for sale by Simon Turner at Camper & Nicholsons.
Built in steel and aluminium by UK yard Camper & Nicholsons to an in house design, she was delivered in 1960 as one of the largest gentleman’s yachts available at the time. She emerged from a two year refit in December 2013 boasting new teak decks, a reconfigured saloon and fresh exterior paint.
Accommodation is for six guests in three cabins with full en suite bathroom facilities plus eight crew and a particular feature of this yacht is her huge exterior top deck which can be configured in several different ways and comes complete with a sun awning. Other salesworthy features include her long range capabilities and the quality of her recent refit along with the fact that her new engines have logged less than 500 hours. Twin 180hp Cummins engines give her a cruising speed of 9 knots.
Celandine is asking $1.9 million.
