Codecasa's 61.5-metre motor yacht Esmeralda has been listed for sale for the first time since her delivery in 1981. She joins the market with Jan Jaap Minnema and Quentin Bourgeois of Fraser.
Esmeralda was constructed in steel and aluminium, built to a Giuseppe De Jorio design, with Ugo Codecasa responsible for the naval architecture. H2 Yacht Design and De Jorio collaborated on the classic yacht's interior design, which hosts a remarkable 28 guests across 11 cabins (in private use).
Her last refit works were completed in 2001, with her brokers noting that Esmeralda has been "carefully maintained by an experienced owner and a dedicated long-standing crew".
A combination of suites across her main and boat decks offers flexible accommodation for her swathe of guests, comprising four double cabins (including a broad master suite with private lounge) and seven twin cabins. Meanwhile, crew quarters on the lower deck accommodate a team of 19.
Living areas are just as spacious – thanks to her expansive 1,002 GT interior volume – with the main saloon and dining areas well-equipped for entertaining large groups. Features including games tables, flat-screen televisions and sit-up bars enhance the experience.
The sundeck is a highlight on board Esmeralda, with a hexagonal-shaped Jacuzzi and multiple sun loungers for relaxing in the unobstructed sun while taking in the passing panoramic views. Below, her bridge deck offers an al fresco dining setup, with easy access to the interior bar and lounge, while a secondary al fresco dining table is also located on the main deck aft.
The RINA-classed motor yacht for sale cruises smoothly at 12 knots and can reach a maximum speed of 14 knots for "efficient long-range passages". Key specs include a 10-metre beam and a 4.8-metre draft.
Esmeralda is asking €14,000,000, currently cruising in Greece.
