21 May 2021 • Written by Holly Overton

The 28.65 metre Destiny motor yacht Quintessa, listed for sale by Raymond Young at RJC Yacht Sales, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Aaron Antonson of Denison Yachting.

Built in fiberglass by Destiny Yachts, Quintessa was delivered in 2000 as a raised pilothouse Destiny 94 model designed by Evan Marshall. She received a complete interior refit in 2019, including all new furnishings, carpeting, soft goods, electrical systems and A/V equipment.

Quintessa was asking $1,595,000.

A full-beam main saloon is accessed through two sliding doors and serves as the social hub on board. There's a plush L-shaped sofa, entertainment centre with a 36-inch television, and a granite-topped bar with a formal dining option forward with seating for eight guests. The space is finished with high gloss cherry joinery with maple burl accents and custom marble flooring.

Above, the flybridge benefits from a Jacuzzi with a bar, as well as a U-shaped sofa and dining table for lunches served al fresco. Designed with fair weather in mind, the radar arch is even angled forward for improved sunbathing. Additional sunpads can be found on the foredeck.

Quintessa offers accommodation for up to eight guests split between four en suite cabins with a crew of four. A full-beam master suite resides on the main deck while a VIP, double and twin cabin are found below.

Power comes from twin MTU 16V 2000 1,800hp engines delivering a top speed of 23 knots.

Quintessa was asking $1,595,000.
