William Christie in the London office of Edmiston & Company calls me to advise of a price change for the 42.98m modern classic sailing yacht Skylge. In October 2008 she was offered at €14.95 million and her new price has been set at €9.95 million. Built in 2006, Skylge offers, says Will, “An impeccable Dutch pedigree, being designed by Andre Hoek and built by Holland Jachtbouw. She has a very powerful rig with carbon spars and sails, making her very fast, while her lifting keel enables her to venture into those attractive coves other large sailboats have to avoid.” MCA compliant, Skylge has also been optimised for the charter market, providing comfortable accommodation for eight to nine guests in four cabins.
