Peter Thompson at Ocean Independence confirms that he represented both buyer and seller in the recent sale of the 42.98m sailing yacht Skylge, his joint CA with Michael White.

Skylge was built in 2006 by Holland Jachtbouw to an Andre Hoek design. Built in aluminium, this superyacht has slim low-freeboard lines, long overhangs and a modest pilothouse. Her rig follows the trend for high-aspect mainsails and she has a clean deck, while her lifting keel offers access to shallower waters.

Lloyds classed and MCA compliant, she sleeps eight guests in a master, double and two twins and has a range of 2,500 nautical miles at 11 knots. Skylge was asking €7.75 million.
