Skylge

The 42.9 metre superyacht Skylge is a new central agent for Ocean Independence. A product of Hoek Design and the Holland Jachtbouw yard, with classic lines and overall appearance, the superyacht has high-performance pedigree including carbon fibre spars and is ideally suited for both inshore regattas or long distance cruising.

The yacht’s new central agents, Peter Thompson and Michael White at Ocean Independence, confirm a price drop from €9.95 million to €7.75 million. “It is a real shame that nobody has come forward to take on the yacht,” comments Toby Maclaurin from Ocean Independence. Skylge has already completed one circumnavigation and is ready for blue water, or inshore sailing.

“It’s very rare these days that an owner builds a boat with the aim of a circumnavigation and actually carries it through,” continues Maclaurin. “She’s a great boat and the owner and skipper have taken her everywhere,” he adds. Skylge is currently lying in the Cote d’Azur.
