The 29.58 metre motor yacht Blue Sapphire, listed for sale by Yachtzoo, has been sold in an in-house deal.
Built in GRP by Turkish yardElegan-Favorim to an in-house design, she was delivered in 2009 as part of the yard’s Giant 100 series. The yacht was originally built for the owner of the yard who never used her except for demonstration purposes. When the yacht was sold in 2013 to the current owners, the vessel still had plastic covers on the mattresses and the kitchen appliances had never been used.
The contemporary interior is a combination of high gloss wood and light-coloured furniture, ceilings and carpeting, accommodating 10 guests in five cabins comprising a master suite, two VIP suites, a double and a twin, all with entertainment centres and en suite bathroom facilities. In addition, the crew quarters sleep five members of staff.
The saloon and dining are open plan, separated only by a low island credenza. The lounge area offers plenty of plush seating, full entertainment systems and direct access to the aft deck. Forward, the formal dining space seats guests in elegance and style. Surrounding panoramic windows allow warm natural light to enhance the spacious ambiance.
Outdoors, the expansive flybridge can be accessed from either the aft deck or the internal staircase. This area offers a Jacuzzi tub, wet bar and sun cushions plus comfortable intimate seating and dining. Additional sun bathing cushions are located on the foredeck, as well as a cosy forward-facing seating area. Her top speed is 22 knots and her power comes from two 2,000hp MTU diesel engines.
Blue Sapphire was asking €3,000,000.
