The 31 metre motor yacht Acala, jointly listed for sale by CdM and Denison Yachting, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Alex Clarke at Denison Yachting.
Built in steel and aluminium by Italian yard Cantiere delle Marche to a design by Hydro Tec, Acala was delivered in 2015 as the first yacht in the Darwin Class 102 explorer series. Her original owner chose a five-cabin layout for 10 guests with the owner’s stateroom set forward. Crew accommodation hosts up to seven members of staff aboard this yacht for sale.
The guest cabins are all on the lower deck, laid out as a master suite, two VIP suites and two twins, all enjoying entertainment centres, Samsung television screens and en suite bathroom facilities.
Both her main saloon and sky lounge have floor to ceiling sliding glass doors that can be completely moved to the side thus combining interior and exterior spaces into one. Inviting furniture, custom interior decor, brass fixtures, and large windows give her an inviting feel.
Big boat customisations abound, from the dive centre in the lazarette that hosts a nitrox compressor, to air conditioning in the outdoor living areas. The swim platform has been enlarged so Acala can accommodate two sizeable tenders – a six metre custom yacht tender by McMullen and Wing and another five metre tender. Her top speed is 13.6 knots and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 5,900 nautical miles at 10 knots with power coming from two Caterpillar diesel engines.
Lying in Fort Lauderdale, Fllorida, Acala was asking €6,900,000.
