Patrick Coote, Marketing Manager of Fraser Yachts writes in to say that Jeff Partin in the Fort Lauderdale office has cut the price of Benetti’s 36.5m Allegro from €10.995 million to €9.995 million. Built in 2008, Allegro accommodates 10 guests and is scheduled for a haul-out in Livorno on June 15-22 for a bottom paint job after which she’ll be as good as new. Meanwhile, I spoke to Jan-Jaap Minnema in the Monaco office this morning who tells me that the owner of Heesen’s 40m Brazil has authorised a €2million price reduction to €7.95 million. Although she was built in 1993, Jan-Jaap says that she’s been constantly upgraded since and offers the best value in her size range. She had an interior refit in 2008 at Bradford Marine in Florida and within the past few weeks has had a complete technical and engine room refit in San Remo, where she’s now lying. ABS classed and MCA compliant, she has already signed up several charters for 2009, making her, says Jan Jaap, “Something very special."
