Fraser Yachts sends news that Jan-Jaap Minnema has listed for sale the 24 metre motor yacht Spoom.

Designed by Fairmile, she was built in steel by Holland's Gideon Shipyard and delivered in 1962 with a refit in 2010. The refit saw her galley replaced with new stainless steel equipment and renewed carpeting and cushions. One of her most notable aspects is the amount of outdoor space available. The aft deck has an L-shaped settee with a dining table and fridge while the top deck offers 35 square metres of her original teak deck for al fresco entertaining and dining.

The large saloon has comfortable seating, a 30 inch plasma television screen and an entertainment system with a DVD and Dolby surround sound. Accommodation is for eight guests in three staterooms. The master suite is full beam and sleeps four in two double beds while there are a further two double staterooms. All staterooms are equipped with LCD television screens and have full en suite bathroom facilities. There is also WiFi internet access throughout the yacht. Twin 153hp Gardner engines give her a cruising speed of 10 knots and a range of 3,000 nautical miles at 9.5 knots.

Lying in Ibiza, Spain, Spoom is asking €1,550,000.
