Haak motor yacht Sea Lion sold

The 37.98 metre canoe-stern motor yacht Sea Lion has been sold with the brokers at Van der Vliet Quality Yachts in Holland acting for the buyer and seller.

Built in steel by Dutch yard Haak, she was delivered in 1998 with regular refits and upgrades, the latest being in 2011. Her interior, by Rijntjes Yacht Design, is in gloss varnished mahogany throughout accommodating 10 guests in five cabins consisting of a main deck master suite, two VIP suites and two twin cabins, all with en suite bathroom facilities. In addition, there are quarters for six crew in three en suite cabins.

The aft deck is a spacious, shaded al fresco dining and sun area with a teak sofa, a round dining table and eight teak chairs. Glass and teak doors lead into the lounge area of the saloon, fitted with an off-white L-shaped settee, armchairs, a bar and entertainment centre. Forward is the formal dining area seating eight guests and with ample storage for glassware, china and cutlery.

Up in the cosy sky lounge is a five person gloss varnished table with storage space and a small two seater sofa in white fabric. Two relaxing armchairs both have leg rests and there is a large wine storage cabinet. See-through curtains offer panoramic views and there is direct access to the wheelhouse and sky lounge bar. More outdoor relaxation is available on the sun deck, equipped with a sofa, chairs, a Bose surround sound stereo system and a Jacuzzi spa tub.

Power comes from twin 730hp Caterpillar engines.

Lying in Spain, Sea Lion was asking €2,750,000.
