The 28.5-metre Hakvoort Maritime motor yacht Mathilda I has been sold with Marc Haendle of Camper & Nicholsons representing both the seller and the buyer.
Delivered by the Dutch yard in 1995, she was built in steel and aluminium to a design by Henk Lunstroo, and was later refitted in 2004. Her broker notes that she has been regularly maintained and "noted for her top quality build" and "optimal use of space." In 2015, a further minor refit was undertaken at the bridge area.
Her interiors were designed by Felix Buytendijk. The main deck saloon has a lounge area with comfortable sofas, coffee tables and a bar, while a separate formal dining area with seating for 10 guests is located forward.
Accommodation is for 10 guests in five cabins consisting of a full beam master suite, two doubles and two twins, all with entertainment centres and en suite shower facilities. In addition, there are quarters for three crew.
Outdoor spaces are plentiful and include the main aft deck with built-in upholstered seating and a table, and there is a large sundeck with sun pads and loungers offering panoramic views.
A successful charter yacht, she is powered by twin Caterpillar diesel engines giving her a cruising speed of 12 knots and a range of 3,000 nautical miles at 9.2 knots.
Mathilda I was listed with POA.
