The 24.3 metre motor yacht Halcyon, listed for sale by Ron Morgenstein at International Yacht Collection, has been sold.

Built in GRP by US yard Hatteras, she was delivered in 2006 and is the desirable skylounge model. Halcyon was custom built for the first owners who owned the boat for almost nine years and mostly lived aboard, lovingly maintaining her yet rarely going anywhere, which is why she has only approximately 400 hours on her reliable Caterpillar C-30 engines.

The main saloon area has large fixed windows to port and starboard with drop down blinds. All the way aft is a polished stainless steel framed two-part glass sliding electric door out to the aft deck. To port is the lounge sitting area while to starboard is a bar with a granite countertop and a recessed floor. The lounge sitting area has a large built-in U-shaped couch with a wooden cocktail table and a pair of built-in side tables with lamps. Entertainment is provided by a 46 inch Samsung LED colour television and a Prodigy surround sound stereo system. Forward, the dining saloon has a finished wood table on a fixed pedestal mount with six loose chairs.

Accommodation is for eight guests in four cabins consisting of a master suite with a king sized bed, a VIP suite with a queen sized bed and two twins, all with en suite shower facilities. Twin 1,550 Caterpillar engines give her a cruising speed of 20 knots and a maximum speed of 25 knots.

Lying in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Halcyon was asking $2,990,00.
