We want to make Boat International the best destination for owners and lovers of superyachts, and we need your help to tell us more about yourselves and what interests you.

Our reader survey covers work, income, interests and hobbies, and most importantly – yacht ownership. We will use your responses to inform the boats we write about, the subjects we cover, and the advertising you will see.

It will take 5-10 minutes to complete. All answers are completely anonymous, and the responses are collected by our research partner, Tapestry.

Hatteras motor yacht Knot Tide II sold

The 24.38 metre motor yacht Knot Tide II, listed for sale by Jim McConville at Allied Marine, has been sold with David Wiest at RJC Yachts introducing the buyer.

Built in GRP by US yard Hatteras, Knot Tide II was delivered in 2008 as a Hatteras 80 model and has since been regularly upgraded. An interior in high gloss cherry wood sleeps eight guests in four cabins consisting of a full-beam master suite, two VIP suites and a twin cabin, all with entertainment centres and en-suite bathroom facilities.

The open plan saloon lends itself to entertaining, with an L-shaped settee and occasional chairs aft in the lounge area to enjoy an entertainment centre featuring a 50-inch flat screen HD television. Forward is a formal dining area with seating for eight guests, while further forward still, the country-style kitchen offers a banquette where informal snacks may be enjoyed at any time of the day.

The aft deck comes with built-in seating, tables and a sun pad, while the flybridge offers a further al fresco dining option, a full wet bar with stools and a barbecue grill. The entire flybridge can be air conditioned by utilising the hard top and a full Eisenglass enclosure. Twin 1,650hp Caterpillar diesel engines give her a comfortable cruising speed of 16 knots.

Knot Tide II was asking $2,995,000 and will be renamed Victory.
