Heesen Yachts' 46-metre motor yacht King Louis has received a €950,000 price reduction to her sales listing with Imperial Sea Marine.
King Louis was delivered in 2003, constructed in aluminium by the Dutch yard to a complete design by Omega Architects, with naval architecture from Heesen's in-house team. She has been expertly maintained since her delivery, with maintenance and service works completed every year since 2016, an extensive rebuild completed in 2020 and further works completed in 2022.
Accommodation on board is for 12 guests in five cabins, comprising an expansive owner's suite, two VIP cabins (with an additional bed) and two double cabins. Additionally, a crew of nine are accommodated in four cabins.
The owner's suite is the star of the show. Located on the upper deck aft, the cabin is exceptionally large, fitted with a walk-in wardrobe, en suite, desk space, sofa and a central bed which faces out to a private deck. Extensive glazing also spreads the suite, filling it with bounds of natural light.
Omega's Frank Laupman has created a sumptuously modern interior on board – one which was cutting-edge for its time in 2003. Warm yellow woods, cream leather panelling and smooth curved details characterise King Louis' living areas, with even the furniture itself free from sharp lines. The main saloon is host to several loose lounge chairs and a sofa, with an oval dining table seating six close by.
Outside, the sundeck offers plenty of space to relax, with a large circular sunpad and Jacuzzi aft and a bar and lounge space in the centre which can be closed off to the elements. Forward of the sundeck, there is further curved seating and a circular glass staircase which descends to the upper deck. King Louis also features a large beach club thanks to a wide opening transom-come-swim platform.
Key specs include an interior volume of 493GT, a beam of 8.5 metres and a 2.5-metre draft. The yacht for sale offers a maximum speed of 25 knots and a 20-knot cruising speed.
King Louis is now asking €9,800,000 with VAT paid.
