55m Heesen yacht Reliance joins the market

10 November 2025 • Written by Holly Margerrison

The 55-metre Heesen yacht Reliance has joined the market with Maël Fiolet and Alp Kişmir of Camper & Nicholsons.

Built by Dutch shipyard Heesen Yachts, Reliance is the sixth hull in the yard’s popular 55 Steel series and represents the most refined iteration to date. Her fast-displacement steel hull is by Van Oossanen Naval Architects, while exterior design is by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects and interiors are by Luca Dini – marking the first collaboration between Heesen and the Italian studio.

Reliance is asking €49,900,000

With her shark-grey profile and distinctive "shark tooth" superstructure overhang, Reliance displays all the hallmarks of the 55 Steel line. Outdoor living unfolds across four decks, highlighted by a 110-square-metre sundeck – one of the largest in her class – featuring a Jacuzzi, teppanyaki bar and generous sunpads.

The upper deck aft offers an elegant dining area for al fresco evenings, while the beach club has been reimagined with a wellness focus, complete with Technogym equipment, a sauna and hammam illuminated by natural light through glass panels in the transom door.

Stepping inside, Reliance’s light and natural palette combines Tay wood, marine leather and stone with bronze accents and dark oak detailing. The main saloon is centred around a formal dining area for 12 beneath a bronze-mirrored ceiling, while the full-beam sky lounge above offers a more intimate setting with a bar, sofas and floor-to-ceiling windows that open onto the aft terrace.

Accommodation is for 12 guests in six cabins, including an 82-square-metre owner’s apartment forward on the main deck with large opening windows, a private study and an en suite finished in hand-selected marble. Four further guest cabins are located on the lower deck, with a VIP suite on the upper deck. A crew of 13 is housed in quarters designed for efficient operation and charter service.

Constructed with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, Reliance employs Heesen’s Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) to deliver both performance and efficiency. Powered by IMO Tier III-compliant engines, she offers a range of 4,500 nautical miles at cruising speed and a draught of 3.17 metres.

Reliance is commercially registered and has already built a strong charter record. She is currently completing her intermediate survey at Lusben in Livorno and is available for inspection by prior appointment.

Reliance is asking €49,900,000.
