A $750,000 price drop has been announced on the 27.4-metre Horizon motor yacht Rio, listed for sale with Carl Sputh of Northrop & Johnson.
Delivered by Horizon in December 2022 as a 2023 model, Rio is a custom FD90 designed by Cor D. Rover. She features a 7.11-metre beam and shallow 1.83-metre draught, making her suited to cruising in the Bahamas, Florida Keys and wider Caribbean.
Accommodation is for up to 11 guests across five en-suite cabins, with a full-beam master suite located on the main deck. The master features a king-size bed, a dressing area and a spacious en-suite bathroom.
The remaining accommodation is positioned on the lower deck and comprises two queen cabins, a VIP cabin that can be configured with either a king-size bed or twin beds, and a midship cabin that can accommodate either twin or three single beds. Quarters are also provided for four crew.
The main saloon is arranged around an open lounge and forward dining area, with expansive panoramic windows bringing natural light into the space. The interior combines natural wood finishes with neutral tones, while the galley is enclosed rather than incorporated into the main living area.
On the upper deck, a skylounge includes a fold-out bed and leads out to an aft bridge deck with dining and lounge seating. Custom sun sails provide shade across the outdoor space.
Rio's exterior areas are spread across several levels. The aft deck provides space for al fresco dining and leads down to a swim platform that can be used as a lounge at water level. Forward, a heated Jacuzzi sits alongside a dedicated lounge area, while the flybridge is equipped with sunpads and additional seating for outdoor use.
The yacht is fitted with stabilisers for use both underway and at anchor, while cruising equipment includes two watermakers capable of producing approximately 350 litres of fresh water per hour. Freshwater capacity is 1,500 litres.
Other onboard equipment includes Starlink and Intellian connectivity, a FLIR infrared camera and a Sonos audio system with eight independently controlled entertainment zones.
Powered by twin MTU 16V engines with approximately 2,700 hours each, RIO has a cruising speed of 11 knots and can reach between 17 and 19 knots. The engines are covered by warranty up to 4,500 hours, while the yacht has a reported range of approximately 2,500 nautical miles.
The yacht for sale is currently available for viewings between Fort Lauderdale and Nassau.
Rio is now asking $8,250,000.
