Alex G. Clarke of Bartram & Brakenhoff tells me that he’s been appointed global broker/representative for the Italian shipyard, Cantiere Navale di Pesaro (CNP), with which he has been working closely over the past year. CNP specialises in full-displacement, long-range explorer yachts with cruising ranges varying from 6000 to 10,000 nautical miles and has an environmentally Green approach to yachting by offering an optional diesel electric hybrid propulsion package.

Just sold by the yard is a 24.9m Naumachos 82 asking €4.7 million, while Alex’s newest central listing for sale is the 35m Naumachos 115 at €10.5 million. CNP has so far launched three of the Naumachos 82s with five more scheduled for delivery before the end of 2010. Hull #1 of the Naumachos 105 is being delivered in late 2009, with Hull #2 available for a late 2010 delivery along with the 35m. Also under construction is custom 44m project due to launch in 2010. The interior design on all projects is completely customised for each buyer with multiple layout options available.
