Here's a notable milestone as Vesa Kaukonen at KK Superyachts tells me he's sold the 49.3m motor yacht Streamline with Kevin Bonnie at International Yacht Collection acting for the seller.
And why a notable milestone? Because she's the 60th yacht sold so far this year as opposed to 59 in the first quarter of 2012, so there's still all to play for as March draws to a close.
Anyway, back to Streamline. Styled by Cor D Rover and built by Mondo Marine in 2009, she’s Lloyd’s classed and MCA compliant.
A flexible interior layout by Luca Dini makes her ideal for charter use as she can be quickly configured by the crew into three, four or five cabins accommodating up to 10 guests. Twin 2,480hp MTU engines give Streamline a cruising speed of 14 knots and for transoceanic crossings she has a range of 4,000 nautical miles at 10 knots.
Streamline was asking €15.9 million and will be available for charter with KK Superyachts from July 2013 under her new name of Auspicious.
