On August 19th 2009 I reported that disgraced financier Bernie Madoff's 27m Leopard motor yacht Bull was for sale and now Gordon Wyles at Wyles Hardy & Co tells me that, having been temporarily withdrawn due to legal wrangles, all is now resolved and she's actively on the market again.

Built by Italy's Arno yard in 2007 to Madoff's unique specifications, this superyacht had a list price of €6 million and comes complete with monogrammed towels and bespoke bed covers with Ruth and Bernie Madoff's initials intertwined.

Says Gordon: "Although we have had significant interest in Europe, we are keen to test the US market before we conclude a sale as I believe that this yacht's association with the largest swindle of the 20th Century makes it almost a piece of American heritage. It should prove attractive to US based owners and the charter market."
