A call from Ivan Adzic at FIPA Group in Cannes alerts me to a new offering on the market - a 2009 Maiora 35 Jet motor yacht. She's of particular interest in that this superyacht has benefitted from a transfer of technology from FIPA's AB Yachts line and is the first high-performance Maiora with three engines, waterjet propulsion and advanced composite construction. At one-third load she achieves 42 knots and can cruise at 38 knots, retaining a level of fuel efficiency superior to a motor yacht with twin engines and conventional propulsion.
A comfortable yacht, she has a split level master cabin located forward on the main deck along with five additional cabins on the lower deck and a fitness room. The size of her flybridge is also noteworthy as the tenders are kept in the stern garage. Lying in Menton, France, and with just over 300 hours on her engines, the Maiora 35 Jet is asking €11 million.
