Mangusta motor yacht Kampai sold

Mangusta motor yacht Kampai sold

The 28.04 metre motor Yacht Kampai, listed for sale with Michael Selter at Fraser Yachts, has been sold with Boomer Jousma of yachtBlue, the brokerage division of Sanlorenzo Americas, introducing the buyer.

Designed by Stefano Righini, she was built in GRP by Italian yard Overmarine to Bureau Veritas class and delivered in 2005 as a Mangusta 92 model with a refit in 2015. MCA compliant, she accommodates nine guests in four cabins consisting of a master suite, VIP suite, a double and a twin with a Pullman berth. All cabins have entertainment centres, flat screen television sets and en suite bathroom facilities. In addition, there are two cabins for four crew.

The saloon has settees to port and starboard, coffee tables and an entertainment centre including a 42 inch flat screen television set. A feature here is an electric sun roof allowing the entire area to be bathed in sunlight. Forward is a full wet bar, fridge and ice maker along with a dining table seating 12 guests and storage cabinets for china, glassware and silver. Further forward still is the galley with new appliances installed in the 2015 refit and a settee and dinette for the crew.

The aft deck has a large sun pad, ample al fresco seating on built in upholstered bench seating and two settees, a table, and there is access to a wide swim platform and a stainless steel fresh water shower.

Mangusta yachts are renowned for their power and Kampai is no exception. Twin 2,100hp MTU diesel engines linked to KaMeWa water jets blast her through the water at speeds of up to 30 knots.

Lying in Fort Lauderdale, Kampai was asking $2.2 million.
