Mirabella

Hearing that Concorde Yachts' 40m sailing superyacht Mirabella has been sold, I call Simon Goldsworthy in the London office of Camper & Nicholsons International and he confirms that he acted for the buyer while Georges Bourgoignie in the Fort Lauderdale office represented the vendor.

Built in 1991 and refitted in 2005, she's been a charter yacht since launch but Simon tells me that her new owners intend to take her private while retaining the name. Mirabella accommodates up to 12 guests plus seven crew and will soon go in for an extensive refit, although the yard hasn't been decided yet. She was on the market asking a very keen $2.9 million.
