News just in from Bob Cury at RJC Yachts that Raymond Young has closed on the sale of his central listing for sale, the 24.3m motor yacht Equinox II with Nautical Needs representing the buyer.

Built by Chinese shipyard Cheoy Lee, Equinox II was launched in 1999. She features an interior in maple and anigre joinery throughout and a spacious and comfortable main saloon with large windows has a full size galley and a formal dining area. Equinox II features a five stateroom layout for eight guests and, although the yacht is designed to be operated by minimal crew, the fifth stateroom can be used either as a captain's cabin or for additional guests. Powered by 1,350hp Caterpillar engines she cruises comfortably at 16 knots with a 20 knot top speed.

Equinox II was asking $999,000 and will head for New England next month.
