Primadonna

I hear that the new 48.7m Primadonna launched earlier this year by Christensen is already up for sale as a worldwide central agency with Merle Wood and Peter Croke of Merle Wood & Associates in Fort Lauderdale. The yacht is built to ABS class and fully MCA compliant. Her Carol Williamson interior is designed to have an understated air of ‘casual elegance’ with semi and high-gloss Sapele mahogany woodwork and custom stonework throughout. Accommodating 12 guests in six cabins, Primadonna has an elevator to all decks, provision to carry a helicopter full time, an 18 knot top speed and a range of over 4000 nautical miles.

In the same office, Dirk Johnson has signed a joint central agency for the sale of Perini Navi’s 47m ketch Andromeda la Dea. Launched in 1990 she has had several meticulous refits, the latest in 2006, and is in excellent condition.
