The Italian Sea Group has contracted to build a new 75 metre motor yacht with the buyer introduced by Will Christie at Y.CO.
To be built in steel and aluminium by the Italian yard, the new yacht is scheduled for delivery in 2021 as one of the yard’s Admiral series. Special features will include the extensive use of glass in the superstructure and exceptional heights in the interior. As the yacht is being built under strict confidentiality, little more has been divulged and renderings are not yet available.
Giuseppe Taranto, vice chairman of the Italian Sea Group, the parent company of Admiral, comments, “We feel proud to have won the contract for this unique and radical 75 metre motor yacht. Having gone up against a number of other shipyards in a rigorous tender process run by a highly professional and knowledgeable owner’s team, to have been selected is really testament to the team here at Admiral.
"The client requires the highest quality which he could see first-hand we are achieving on our latest yachts. In combination with the other fantastic yachts under construction at our modern facilities here, in selecting Admiral for this ground-breaking project we are fast establishing ourselves as one of the leading European shipyards in the construction of large superyachts.”
The asking price of the Admiral 75M has been withheld.
