New Sunseeker 116 Yacht sold by Sunseeker Monaco and Yacht Concept Cannes

A new build Sunseeker 116 Yacht has been sold by Matthew Stanton of Sunseeker Monaco in conjunction with Yachting Concept Cannes who represented the buyer. According to Sunseeker Monaco, the yacht was sold as a direct result of the Monaco Yacht Show.

UK builder Sunseeker recently revealed the first images of its new Sunseeker 116 motor yacht. The superyacht is currently in build and scheduled to be delivered in late 2016. The retail price starts at £12.5 million.

The Sunseeker 116 is an evolution of its Sunseeker 115 Yacht and part of the builder’s “next generation” of 30 metre-plus yachts. The Sunseeker 116 has a sporty new exterior styling.

Designed with entertainment in mind, the new yacht will have a foredeck lounge and flybridge with retractable sunroof that covers a lounge, al fresco dining spot and hot tub.

A further indoor dining saloon hosts 10, while the main saloon has full height windows, which let in abundant light and provide stunning vistas.

The Sunseeker 116 Yacht has a deep-V hull design and will hit a cruise speed of 16 to 18 knots and a top speed of up to 26 knots, engine option dependent.

The Sunseeker London Group is also in the final negotiation stages with two other clients for new build 131 yachts for 2016 and 2017 delivery respectively.
