Talking to Rory Trahair at Edmiston & Company, I’m told that Chris Cecil-Wright has signed a joint central agency, with Merle Wood and Peter Croke of Merle Wood & Associates, for the sale of Feadship’s 65m Trident. Just launched from the Van Lent yard, she features a Donald Starkey interior and accommodates 14 guests in seven cabins. Lloyds classed and MCA compliant, she’s scheduled for sea trials in early June and is due to arrive in the Mediterranean at the end of July where she will remain until sold. Trident’s asking price is €97 million. She is not offered for sale to US residents while in US waters.
