Nordhavn motor yacht Aurora sold

The 36.75 metre motor yacht Aurora, listed for sale by Chris June at Worth Avenue Yachts, has been sold in an in-house deal.

Designed by Jeff Leishman, she was built in GRP by Nordhavn to ABS class and delivered in 2014 as a luxurious explorer yacht. With cherry woodwork throughout, she accommodates 10 guests in five cabins consisting of a full beam master suite on the main deck, a VIP suite, a double and two twins, all with entertainment centres and en suite bathroom facilities

The saloon has settees to port and starboard along with matching coffee tables and chairs on each side, facing each other. Aft in the lobby is a full wet bar with an ice maker and fridge while forward to port is a dining area seating 10 guests on custom upholstered chairs around an elegant wooden table. Further forward is a butler’s counter with storage for china, glassware and silver.

Stainless steel and glass doors lead out to the aft deck with a built in settee, table and loose chairs for al fresco dining. Moving up a level is the sky lounge, serving as another comfortable relaxation area with an L-shaped settee and a coffee table to starboard and a games table and four chairs to port, as well as a large bar equipped with an ice maker, coffee maker and fridge. On the forward bulkhead is an 80 inch television screen allowing guests to catch up with the latest films or their favourite TV programmes.

Twin 965hp MTU diesel engines give her a cruising speed of 11 knots and she is fitted with zero speed stabilisers.

Lying in Vancouver, British Columbia, Aurora was asking $13,995,000.
