Northcoast motor yacht Echoes sold

Northcoast motor yacht Echoes sold

The 24.99 metre motor yacht Echoes, listed for sale by Ardell and Pettingill Yachts, has been sold with Brian Hovey at Chuck Hovey Yachts introducing the buyer.

Built in GRP by US yard Northcoast to a design by Jack Sarin, she was delivered in 1998 and has been regularly upgrade and refitted since. An interior by Cathy Nichols sleeps eight guests in four cabins consisting of a master suite amidships, a VIP suite, a double to starboard and a twin to port, all with full en suite facilities.

The covered teak aft deck has al fresco dining with settee seating and a table, and leads to complete walk-around side decks via port and starboard forward entrance gates. Entrance to the light and bright airy saloon is through the aft deck or port and starboard wing doors via the enclosed pilot house. The saloon has large viewing windows and a fully updated entertainment centre along with a new headliner, updated lighting and a forward open dining area. Moving forward and to port is the updated galley. To starboard is a day head, while a staircase leads up to the flybridge and there are stairs leading down to the owner's sleeping accommodation.

The enclosed pilothouse features two Stidd helm chairs facing a full array of electronics, raised banquet seating and table along with port and starboard wing doors. Moving up to the Bimini covered flybridge, there are a further two helm chairs plus large L-shaped seating and a table to port. To starboard guests can enjoy dining under the stars at a twin built-in barbecue, sink, a small fridge and additional storage. Aft on the small boat deck is a tender, davit, a four person Jacuzzi tub and an aft helm docking station. Twin 1,450hp Detroit Diesel engines give her a cruising speed of 18 knots.

Lying in Newport Beach, California, Echoes was asking $1,350,000.
