It's always a pleasure talking to Michael White at Ocean Independence, especially when he tells me the sale closed on January 31st on his central listing, the 42.67m Feadship motor yacht Masquerade of Sole, with Duane MacPhail at Palm Beach Yachts introducing the buyer.

She was delivered by the De Vries yard in 1983 and has been maintained in excellent condition with several refits, the latest being in 2007. This classic superyacht is of typical Feadship quality - solid, silent and seakindly. The sundeck Jacuzzi, an enormous main deck and a vast array of watersports equipment make her the ideal yacht for parties up to 12, with two prestigious double suites and four twin staterooms.

Masquerade of Sole was asking $8.95 million.
