Wes Sanford in the Fort Lauderdale office of Northrop and Johnson sends me the news that his central agency listing, Oceanfast’s 39.9m Opal C, has been reduced in price by an additional $500,000 this month to $5.45 million. Built in 1990 to a Jon Bannenberg design she is being offered for sale by her original owner and at the time of her launch she was the world’s biggest all-aluminium superyacht. Available for viewing in Palma de Mallorca, she accommodates eight guests in a master suite plus one double and two twins.
