OCI sells Jongert's Twirlybird VI

25 August 2009 • Written by Malcolm MacLean

Hearing that Jongert's 26.7m Twirlybird VI has been sold, I call Nick Dean in the UK office of Ocean Independence and he tells me that it was an in-house deal, with Marc Haendle acting for the buyer while Michael White was the selling broker. Launched in 1997 and most recently refitted in 2008/2009, Twirlybird VI is an aluminium sloop with an interior layout of a master and two twin cabins. She was asking €2.95 million.
