Outer Reef motor yacht Simon Says sold

22 March 2021 • Written by Malcolm MacLean

The 26.3 metre Outer Reef motor yacht Simon Says has been sold with both buyer and seller represented by Mike Kiely of Denison Yachting.

Built in GRP by Taiwanese yard Outer Reef Yachts, Simon says was delivered in 2016. An interior by Destry Darr in high gloss cherry and beech woods can accommodate up to eight guests in four cabins comprising a master suite, VIP suite, a double and a twin, all with entertainment centres, Samsung television screens and en suite bathroom facilities.

Simon Says was asking $4,795,000

In the main-deck saloon, there is a custom L-shaped couch on the port side and another couch on the starboard side, while an entertainment centre is recessed into the bulkhead and features a 55-inch Samsung television screen and a Bose stereo surround sound system. To complete the picture, there is also a custom built bar and ice maker with three bar stools.

Typically, the wheelhouse would be separated from the main saloon, but here it is open to the main deck. If privacy is desired, or to block glare when running at night, a wall can be raised between the pilothouse settee and galley to create separate areas.

Up on the flybridge, the deck is open, but it can be contained with a soft enclosure for protection from the elements and to make use of this deck’s air conditioning system.

Her twin 1,140hp Caterpillar C18 Acert diesel engines allow a cruising speed of 14 knots topping out at 22 knots and she is fitted with ABT Trac bow and stern stabilisers.

Simon Says was asking $4,795,000.
