Part-built JFA superyacht Global Explorer for sale

A partially built 41.41 metre expedition yacht, code named Global Explorer, has been listed for sale by Fernando Nicholson and Jeremy Comport at Camper & Nicholsons.

Currently in build at French yard JFA Chantier Naval in steel and aluminium to a design by Overing Yacht Design with styling by Michael Kirschstein, she can be completed 12 months from signature of contract, allowing a new owner plenty of time to personalize her according to taste.

After completion of the preliminary design, Overing developed and refined the hull form throughout the stability analysis and weight study. Extensive tank tests followed at various speeds, running angles in various wave periods. The tests confirmed the excellent performance and handling characteristics of this hull.

Bureau Veritas classed and MCA compliant, accommodation is configured as six cabins for 12 guests in a full beam master suite, two VIP suites, a double and two twins, all with full en suite facilities.

Generous outdoor areas include a large and partially covered sun deck, a forward guest relaxation area, a bathing platform allowing easy access to the sea and a wide range of relaxation features including a Jacuzzi, outside bar and a barbecue. Twin 1,100hp Caterpillar engines will give her a cruising speed of 12 knots and a range of 7,000 nautical miles.

This Global Explorer yacht for sale is asking €16 million.
