Jane Hardy of Peter Insull’s Yacht Marketing tells me that the 49m Blind Date II was launched last week at Trinity Marine’s Gulfport yard. An all-aluminium yacht, she has a tasteful interior by Florida’s Patrick Knowles, who was also responsible for the owner’s current yacht, the 41m Lurssen-built Blind Date. One of the new yacht’s special features is the huge sundeck due to the fact that her tenders are located on the lower aft deck, thus leaving the whole of the top and bridge deck free for the owner. She features five guest cabins including a split-level owner’s suite on the maindeck and will accommodate up to 12 guests. Peter Insull is offering her for sale at $34.95 million with delivery scheduled for the end of June.
