10 February 2010 • Written by Malcolm MacLean

The total number of superyachts over 24m sold in January 2010 now reaches 13, as a call to Jonathan Syrett in the Palma office of Camper & Nicholsons confirms that he's sold the classic 24.7m motor yacht Babette II to a direct client.

Built by Britain's Fairmile yard in 1965, this canoe stern superyacht was last refitted in 2000 and features a traditional, serene interior design in light colours accommodating five guests and four crew. With only 600 hours on her engines, Babette II was asking €875,000.
