A call to Claude Niek at CSO Yachts brings confirmation that he's seen a major reduction in the price of his central listing, the 28.25m motor yacht Taiji.

Taiji is a Mangusta built by Italy’s Overmarine yard in 2006 to a Stefano Righini design. Bureau Veritas classed, she accommodates eight guests in a master, VIP and two twin cabins. This superyacht’s twin 2,400hp MTU engines give her a cruising speed of 35 knots and the engines are under warranty until July 2011. Formerly listed at €5.8 million, Taiji is now asking €4.4 million.
