The 39-metre Jongert motor yacht Smooth Operator has been sold, with Cornelius Kistler of breezeYachting.swiss representing both the buyer and the seller.
The broker claims that Smooth Operator was the first yacht to be sold at Cannes Yachting Festival this year, saying "to sell the first yacht of the show before lunch is about as good a start to Cannes as we could ask for." She was delivered in 2012 to a design by Guido De Groot and sports an all-aluminium hull and superstructure and exterior design by Azure Yacht Design and Naval Architecture.
On entering the yacht, the main saloon welcomes guests with three generous sofas. Large windows flank the space, flooding the contemporary interior with natural light.
Within the same open-plan layout, there is also a dining table for eight and the seamless flow between formal and informal areas can be adapted effortlessly to any entertaining style.
Smooth Operator sleeps 12 guests across five cabins, including a full-beam master with a private gym and steam bath, and space for five crew in two cabins.
The sundeck offers a versatile social haven with thoughtfully designed shaded and unshaded lounging areas. Three forward-facing sunbeds invite guests to soak up the sun, while beneath the hardtop, a built-in sofa and coffee table create an al fresco dining area.
Smooth Operator 's twin MTU 16V M93 engines give her a top speed of 26.4 knots and a range of 2,800 nautical miles at a 12-knot cruise. Built to RINA LY2 commercial code, she completed her five-year RINA survey in November 2024.
