$1.8M price drop on Alloy sailing yacht Georgia
With exterior styling and interior design by Glade Johnson, Georgia was built in aluminium by New Zealand yard Alloy Yachts to Lloyds class and delivered in 2000 with a full refit in 2015. Very flexible accommodation in a cherry wood interior is for up to 12 guests in six cabins including a full beam master suite. All cabins have state-of-the-art audio/visual systems and en suite bathroom facilities while a further four cabins sleep up to eight crewmembers aboard this yacht for sale.
The flybridge has direct access from the bridge and features port and starboard helm stations, seating aft, a spa pool and sun pads. An aft stairway from the flybridge to the aft deck leads to the air conditioned al fresco, yet protected seating and dining area.
Forward, via large stainless steel and glass doors, the formal main saloon is to port with a large flatscreen television set plus a bar and seating area to starboard.
On the technical side, performance under sail comes from a generous rig of carbon fibre, designed by Southern Spars, with a fully battened in-boom furling mainsail and versatile carbon spars. All are on dedicated Reckman hydraulic furlers with custom carbon fibre foils. Under power, a single 1,000hp Caterpillar diesel engine allows a cruising speed of 10 knots, topping out at 15 knots.
Lying in West Palm Beach, Florida, Georgia is now asking $7,950,000.
