Price drop on sailing yacht Alcanara at Dubois and Burgess

Dubois Yachts and Burgess give me the go-ahead to report a €600,000 price drop on their joint listing, the 29.1m sailing yacht Alcanara.

A yachtsman’s yacht, this Dubois design was delivered in 2009 and built by Steve Ward in Australia. Alcanara is seaworthy, elegant and fast.

An interior by Rhoades Young evokes a relaxed, light and sophisticated feel with Italian fabrics and marble used throughout, plus custom carpets in pure New Zealand wool. Accommodation is for six guests in three cabins.

Built to Lloyds class to exacting standards for an Olympic yachtsman, Alcanara is at the top of her class in construction, fit out and performance.

Her asking price is down from €6.8 million to €6.2 million.
